DKP policy Empty DKP policy

The DKP system is a tool to manage, reward and promote the guild rules in raids.
This system is ultimatly controled by the ones that are responsible for the guild, so this is always place for balance and discussion.

We (guild) regulate the DKP system, is not the system that control us.

The rules are as follow:

Attending an event --> at the entry + 5 DKP, plus + 5 at the end of the event

The finish attendance points are only given in raid instance parallel to Naxx or Ulduar. This meaning: in instances parallel to Obsidian Sanctum it's only given the entry event points. The reason we have this policy is because of the instance longevity of OS compared to Nax is very small (for example).

The amount may be reduced by leaving the raid, with no plausible justification, before it is called by the raid leader.

Arriving late --> It will not be awarded the entry point (Excuses will be analised case by case.)

Not showing at all when had signed to the event --> - 10 DKP (This will also result in a temporary raiding ban. Please sign off raids if you can't come.)

Not all raid instance have the same DKP award values. This is to create a gradual passage from "Gear up/Farm" raid to "Progression/Hard Mode" raids. This system has also in mind the level of gear that each instance requires and rewards.

This way we have:

GEAR UP/FARM RAIDS:

Minimum bid --> 5 DKP
Maximum bid --> 50 DKP
Downing a boss --> 1 DKP

PROGRESSION/HARD MODE

Minimum bid --> 10 DKP
Maximum bid --> 100 DKP
Downing a boss --> 3

VOA

Archavon the Stone Watcher
Minimum bid --> 5
Maximum bid --> 50
Downing the boss --> 1

Emalon the Storm Watcher
Minimum bid --> 10
Maximum bid --> 100
Downing the boss --> 3

In those situations where only one player needs the item, to avoid a disenchant, that player will be permited to bid the minimum amount of DKP for it. Even if they don't have enough DKP to cover the cost. For example, Player A has 5 DKP. An item drops that no one else wants. He may bid 10 DKP (minimum amount) and get it. Player A will then have -5 DKP.

There are certain behaviours that may incur a DKP penalty or bonus. e.g. Inadquate behaviour in chat or vent may result in penalty; Donating to the guild bank may result in bonus DKP.
